Holly Aird

FIONA

Holly Aird is best known for her regular role in hit BBC series Waking The Dead. Holly will next be seen in Casualty for BBC. Holly has recently starred in the new series of A Discovery of Witches on Sky. Other recent screen work includes Unforgotten and Grantchester.

Ann Hawker

Screenwriter and Director

Ann is an award winning director and screenwriter from the UK. She has directed major television documentaries for BBC, Channel Four and CNN.  She is winner of the JETS 2023 co-production award for her feature  An Austrian Holiday. As a writer she  was in the Academy Nicholl Fellowship top 50 in 2023, winner of the Euroscript and Screenwriting Goldmine competitions,  and has been selected for The Red Planet Prize and The Writer's Lab sponsored by Meryl Streep.  Her second short film Cliff Edge will be in festivals in 2024.

Shelagh McLeod

Producer

After an international career as an actress Shelagh wrote, directed and produced three award winning short films, David Rose, Run and The Great Escape.  Her first feature film as writer/director/ associate producer – Astronaut – won the Berlin JETS program and stars Richard Dreyfuss. Premiering at Edinburgh Film Festival 2019, Astronaut was distributed by Hulu (US) & SKY (UK). After directing and producing The Return (2022), she produced Ann Hawker’s poignant short film – Fly Free – based on Ann’s award-winning feature film script Austrian Holiday.
